Injectable Face Fillers

Restylane® (Wrinkle filling and Volume Replacement)
Restylane has quickly made giant leaps in becoming the most popular wrinkle filler and volumizer. With a track record of 6 months' longevity, it has become the most requested dermal filler.

Restylane Injections work for:
- Smile lines
- Marionette lines
- Lip volumizing
- Lip Border enhancement
- Cheek Augmentation
- Glabellar Creases
- Facial wrinkles
- Furrows
- Filling depressed scars

Restylane is frequently administered along with Botox making the dual product injection longer lasting for both.

Pretreatment Tips
1. If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to another recurrence. Speak to your physician about medications that may minimize a recurrence.
2. One week prior to your next treatment with Restylane, avoid taking St. John's Wort, high doses of Vitamin E supplements, aspirin, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, such as ibuprofen. These agents may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site.

Radiesse® (Injectable Filler / Collagen Stimulator)
Areas with strong and frequently moved muscles, such as the nasolabial folds and marionette lines, do better with a more durable product that is not as easily broken down as hyaluronic acid fillers. One of the more remarkable dermal fillers is FDA-approved Radiesse.

Radiesse Injections work for:

- Nasolabial Fold Correction
- Marionette Lines
- Cheek Augmentation

What makes Radiesse different from other fillers? Radiesse is made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a natural gel. As the gel breaks down, the tiny calcium spheres stimulate the production of new collagen growth. The tiny microspheres provide a scaffolding into which your body'sown tissue can grow making sure the correction feels and looks completely natural.

What are Radiesse treatments like? A simple out-patient procedure, your Radiesse injections are very similar to those of fillers such as Restylane. The procedure takes about 15 minutes. Injection discomfort can be minimized - we can discuss when you make your appointment. Following your treatment, you may immediately return back to your daily activities.

How long will the results last? Depending on the areas treated, most of your Radiesse correction should last for many months, or even years. Patients usually see results that last one year or more. Touch up treatments may be necessary to maintain your desired level of correction.

Treatments frequently combined with Radiesse Injections:
- Botox for relaxing frown lines and furrows
- Titan for contouring and tightening the face, and tightening the neck and abdomen
- Restylane for lip augmentation and wrinkles
- Fotofacial for sun-induced pigmentation
- Restylane for under-eye hollows
